We are seeking a part-time Senior Scientist/Senior Environmental Coordinator to provide support in the automotive industrial sector.
What you’ll be doing: Provide as-needed support to Kennedy Jenks’ Air Services Group in support of a major automotive company. Position will involve working with the major automotive company during the construction phase of a vehicle assembly plant in the southeast United States to ensure that the construction of that plant follows its environmental permitting requirements. Position will involve some travel to the plant site and coordination with senior management at that vehicle assembly plant. Position requires an understanding of the automotive vehicle assembly process and the environmental statutes that pertain to the equipment/operations associated with the vehicle assembly process.
Individual will work with the Community of Practice Leader for Air Services at Kennedy Jenks and will be required to be available to provide support on an as-needed basis. Work hours will be flexible to meet the demands of the major automotive company and are expected to be less than 20 hours per week on average. Work can be performed remotely and is not required to be done in a Kennedy Jenks office location.
